Event Notes

× A luminously beautiful play. A hundred years ago, women who worked in astronomy were not allowed to touch a telescope or express an original idea. But that didn’t stop one spunky woman from making a groundbreaking astronomical discovery. With warm-hearted wit and infectious joy, Silent Sky tells the riveting tale of that woman’s dedication to the stars, and to the human touch that makes life under them beautiful and timeless.

While you’re at the Playhouse for the show, be sure to see our display in the lower level of the theatre where you can enjoy sky photography and paintings, and a Telescope and Orrey display.
