Brass and Piano Under the Tent.

The Traverse Symphony Orchestra’s principal trumpet player, Ken Larson, and principal trombone player, Tom Riccobono, join frequent Playhouse performer, Susan Snyder, for an evening of chamber music. Enjoy works spanning several centuries with moods ranging from festive and dance-like to stately and serious. Snyder, Larson, and Riccobono, are all faculty members at the Interlochen Center for the Arts.

This summer, Old Town Playhouse is taking theatre outdoors with Theatre Under the Tent in our parking lot.
  • Seating limited to 75 to ensure social distancing.
  • Bring your own chair or use one of ours.
  • Buy tickets online in advance. If any remain the night of the show, you can buy them at the Box Office with a $5.00 surcharge. Ticket sales will aid the Playhouse during this non-revenue crunch.
  • NOTE: This is a MASKerAID event - Masks must be worn at all times although you may remove them when seated during the performance.


  • Cancellations due to weather: Ticket holders will be notified by email and their ticket purchase will be refunded.
