A Northern Michigan original blues rock band.

The Playhouse welcomes East Bay Blue, a band founded by Chris Cooke when he was introduced to a group of local musicians while acting at the Playhouse. Among other venues, they have performed at the National Cherry Festival and the Southside Festival Grounds. Their original song, “The Best Aortic Aneurism Baseball Player in the Old Midwest,” was featured on the Millennium Music Festival cd.



This summer, Old Town Playhouse is again taking theatre outdoors with Theatre Under the Tent in our parking lot.

• Procedures, seating distances, and health department guidelines will be followed throughout the summer. Our goal is to create a safe environment for our patrons and volunteers
• Bring your own chair or use one of ours.
• Bring your own food and make it a picnic. (No glass bottles allowed.)
• Tickets are available online, by phone, or at the Box Office. Any remaining tickets will be available at the entrance to the parking lot beginning one hour before the show.

In case of rain or other severe weather we will strive to reschedule this performance for a future day - usually the following Sunday or Monday. Once notified of such a change, ticket holders will be free to exchange their tickets, receive a refund, or convert them to a donation.
