Old Town Playhouse is located in the Old Town neighborhood of Traverse City, Michigan, at 148 East Eighth Street, between Union and Cass Streets. The building is four blocks south of Front Street in downtown Traverse City and five blocks south of Grandview Parkway, also known as M-37, which runs parallel to the West Bay of Grand Traverse Bay.

The Playhouse MainStage is on the main floor and the Schmuckal Theatre is in the lower level
